Started recording my reads and ratings and even made a RYO: Ace Science Fiction Specials (series one). May need to create a new one for my current reading project.

I've been making BookTube style videos for over a year now. My videos include book hauls, collections and reviews. I'm known for taking on publisher series as reading projects. Last year I finished the already mentioned Ace Science Fiction Specials (series one). That was 38 books plus I added 8 more that were planned for the series for a total of 46 books. They were published from 1967 - 1971 and included the first publication of Ursula K. Le Guin's 'The Left Hand of Darkness'. Currently I'm reading Ace Specials (series two), 11 books from 1975 - 1977. I also have an ongoing project reading Gollancz's SF Masterworks. Lots more to discover on the channel.

I look forward to getting to know some WWenders (is there a name for people here?).

I have recently published a science-fiction book online after a couple years of rather agonising work and I thought this might be a nice place to mention its existence! It's called Sweet Oblivion and it's a retelling of The War of the Worlds set in the modern day. Now, I know what you're thinking - "but that's been done. Literally a thousand times." And you'd be right. Legends of Cypher is an expansive multimedia sci-fi universe set in a future where humanity is dominated by the Centopoly, a galaxy-spanning corporatocracy using a sentient AI called the Metric to control human behavior.

Opposing the Centopoly is Hash, a freedom fighter who has developed Cypher, a technology that could give humanity a shot a lasting freedom.

Book overview

Space 2047 is my first fictional book, and is a comedy adventure set in space. The book features the characters Karen, Salomina, Cedric and Brian who are space delivery drivers, delivering pointless objects across the universe that far too often have no usefulness whatsoever to unintelligent customers.

The crew of the Spaceship "Are we there yet?" encounter a crazy robot wielding underpants in a dangerous manner, visit a chip shop inside a fake black hole, learn about singing meteorites, employ a robot elephant cleaner, and visit a space station called "Stop crashing into me!"

I grew up in the 80s so I love all the greats of sci-fi, horror, fantasy and most comics. I was in the entertainment biz for a majority of my life and now do various different endeavors. One is trying out writing and producing.

I roughed out a novel, but it turned into a live show concept that now has morphed into an online sci-fi experiment.

I desperately need feedback from like minded souls. No one I know digs sci-fi like me so they don't really get what I have done.

I have a website. projectelypsus.com and a youtube page.... youtube.com/@projectelypsus. The site has some of the written content of the universe, some of the physics, characters that support the story. The youtube has episode 1 showing one character from that world.

Please let me know, without me telling too much, if there is something there that makes sense, is compelling and interesting. It is a good vs evil story that is set across dimensions and filled with many different, dynamic characters. The youtube episode character is just one that I chose to be the one to start the story reveal.
