"It's the terror that's unspeakable."

In The Sound of his Horn, Sarban gives an interesting take on what if Nazi Germany had won WWII. Sarban's writing style and ideas often reminded me of HG Wells' works. I imagine fans of Wells will find much to like here. The novel is really more of a long short story (novella), and only begins to hint at what could have become a very interesting novel.

An intriguing, thought-provoking read, but not one I would include in my top 100.
