This novella is about how a near-light-speed vehicle might work, with an uploaded mind as an AI and adaptable drones, and the technical aspects of relativity and maneuvering at such a speed. It's interesting, but the plot, such as it is, is just set dressing for the technical aspects. I'm not sorry I read it, but I can't enthuse about it either. I gave it 3.5 stars.

I did enjoy this author's One Way quite a bit more, and recommend that novel to fans of space mysteries.
