The Little Witch of Elm Street

This is a delightful short, my first read of a Mildred Clingerman story. Will be reading more of her, for sure.

A little yarn about the neighborhood terror who maybe a witch. The half baked exorcism performed on her with results.

Could not find an appropriate genre for this. Suburban homespun humorous witchy fantasy is where it belongs. Nothing else comes close.

Clingerman was a self proclaimed homemaker during her writing career of the early to mid nineteen fifties. Honestly anyone born after nineteen fifty five may not get or find this offensive. Those born before that and lived in a neighborhood, probably lived it.
