Wow, those were some characters. Starting with Glokta, an unscrupulous misanthrope that kinda has a point, to Logen, a berserker barbarian, to Bayaz, a mage who is great and wise when he's not exploding people with his mind...
I've been told that Abercrombie is the master of characterization - and they've been right.
However, it would have been nice to have a story to go along with the characters.
