The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents

This is the first Terry Pratchett book I ever read, one of my favourites as a kid, and it’s still one of my favourite books today. It’s funny and dramatic and so emotional in so many ways, all while displaying the genius writing and satire of all of the Discworld books. Sure, it’s not quite as well-paced as the others, and sometimes not as funny, but I don’t think I care. I’ve loved this book for a long time, and I’ll keep loving it for a long time more. It’s making me want to get pet rats again, too.
