Kushiel's Chosen

As I mentioned in my review of Kushiel's Dart, I haven't read this or the final book in the trilogy as many times as the first book, and there are things in this second book that I'd completely forgotten, most notably the arrival of Melisande at the mid-point of the narrative.

Definitely a good middle book, and now I'm really looking forward to my reread of book three.
