Brother Odd

This is the 3rd Odd Thomas novel and is very good compared to the 2nd which was not as good as the 1st.

The 1st was very entertaining and creative. The 2nd not quite as interesting.

But this novel is the equal of the 1st. The setting is brilliant as are many of the characters. However the best part of this book is the monster/creature/evil-being that is created. We only get small parts of the story told about this, but in this case less is more as I found this the best and most memorable part of the book.
