Started off quite promising, with an interesting magic concept/system and interesting world and people, who reminded me a little of Vikings.
However, I found that many of the plot-lines were laid out for all to see, leading to some predictability, so there was very little for the reader to work out for themselves - I was expecting more mystery I guess.
