This is a very strange book to read. It focuses on a handle of characters but there are many periphery characters. So much happens but it is all going on at the same time with flashbacks and old memories mixed in. All this can be confusing, in addition there are many dreamlike sequences and just plain weird difficult to wrap your head around stuff. Quite challenging to read but very worthwhile. Definitely warrants a second read to try and figure it all out.

My favourite parts where two of the stories within in the story. One in Miami and the other during one of the world wars.
