Roadside Picnic

I have heard that the Russians love their Science Fiction, and if this book is any indication, I can see why.

Roadside Picnic make me think some very deep thoughts, and keep me going, huh, what if? What if aliens really did fly by Earth, and stopped off at the side of the road to have a picnic? What if the rubbish they left behind twisted the world into something almost unrecognisable? What would happen? Probably what happens in Roadside Picnic.
