One of the very very best SF novels! The Hugo and Nebula Awards certainly missed a treasure with this one.
I gave this novel 5 stars because I rated it "A++" when I read it.
In my rating system, a C - gets one star, and I increase by a half-star with each step up to an A+, which gets 5 stars. One half star is reserved for bombs... D+ and lower.
