My first Nalo Hopkinson (Read for the 2017 Women of Genre Fiction challenge), it won't be my last.
Hopkinson pulls off a neat feat in making this book both distinctly Carribean and Canadian. I may have rated it higher if I'd like Ti-Jean more. At least she's an intersting charaqcter if not always sympathetic.
