Random quote: "A lot of the people who read a bestselling novel, for example, do not read much other fiction. By contrast, the audience for an obscure novel is largely composed of people who read a lot. That means the least popular books are judged by people who have the highest standards, while the most popular are judged by people who literally do not know any better. " -- The Economist

I'm late but here it is. There are 2 months left in the 2015 challenges. Where do you stand?
Apparently, this is the month of time traveling and wacky religions for me.

I just finished Time Machines Repaired While-U-Wait - K.A. Bedford

I will be reading:
Time Traders - Andre Norton
1897 - Sean Michael Welch
The Martian - Andy Weir
Midean Unmade: Tales Of Clive Barker's "Nightbreed" - Anthology
Heart-Shaped Box - Joe King
The Naked Sun - Isaac Asimov
Countdown City - Ben H. Winters

Non-Genre:
Going Clear: Scientology, Hollywood, and the Prison of Belief - Lawrence Wright
Prophet's Prey - Sam Brower

and as always, whatever else I feel like.

I doubt that I will be finishing all my challenges this year. I didn't do a very good job of making books fit multiple challenges. I am hoping to read more over Thanksgiving, but the new horse is arriving around then, so I will be spending extra time at the barn.

Right now, I am reading Armada by Ernest Cline
and The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller.

I hope to read
Earthman Come Home by James Blish
The Trials by Linda Nagata
Earth Ascendant by Sean Williams
Deepsix by Jack McDevitt
Methuselah's Children by Robert Heinlein

Those should finish WoGF, Clear the Shelves and Read the Sequel Challenges.

For November I have been doing a number of re-reads, just because I want to see if some favourite books of previous years are still as good as I once thought they were.
The Nightrunner series - Lynn Flewelling
The Mummy - Anne Rice
Dirk Gently books - Douglas Adams
The Legend of Nightfall - Mickey Zucker
Kirith Kirin - Jim Grimsley
The Vor Game - Lois McMaster Bujold
Childhood's End and The City and the Stars - Arthur C Clarke

I'm finishing off the Tie-In Fighter challenge with books from Doctors 9 to 12.

And I'm starting on the 1970's challenge. I've made a start with And Chaos Died, and Downward to the Earth. My next reads will be:
Half Past Human
To Your Scattered Bodies Go
Dying Inside
The Gods Themselves
Frankenstein Unbound
Memoirs Found in a Bathtub
The Godwhale
Walk to the End of the World
