Maybe I would be more interested in this book as a summer read, when my book choices tend to be lighter and sudsier. I'm just not up to reading a romance novel trying to cleverly disguise itself as a fantasy novel, anyway I already read the entire Sookie Stackhouse novels, and most of The Vampire Lestat series, do I really need to start another Vampire and witch love affair series! I'm not giving this series a shake, but there you have it. The heart wants what the heart wants, and my heart wants some blood and gore splashed across the page. Off to Berserk by Tim Lebbon.
Abandoned in 2021 10% into the book.
