The Cold Equations

Brief review - can't believe nobody else has done so.

The links on WWE are quite useful, especially the detailed analysis by Richard Harter. The details of the story can be argued, counter-argued, and fought - but the best result of this story is to make you think.

As a food-for-thought story, this covers a ton of ground, and I recommend it on that basis alone. Negligence, responsibility, personal vs corporate, and the value of human life - the hard edge of physics only appears to be the bogeyman here.

This is freely available, with many adaptations. I've seen and heard a few of these, but don't have one in particular I can recommend yet.
