Kaikeyi

I genuinely enjoyed this one. It's a bit of a retelling of the early parts of the Ramayama, a two-thousand-year old Sanskrit epic, and as the title suggests, it focuses on the life of Rama's mother, Kaikeyi. It's definitely one worth reading, especially if you're looking to read outside the usual sphere of stereotypical Western-style fantasy that still seems to dominate the field at the moment. A strong four out of five stars.
