Pure PKD, "Martian Time Slip" is a wonderful piece. He lays out a story about a Mars colony that is supposed to relieve the problems of Earth. Of course this new colony is governed by a world organizaion, the UN. in PKD fashion all the Earths problems have been brought with the colonists.
The only thing I had trouble with was the ending. Up to that pointit was a stock PKD Science Fantasy novel with a Time Travel twist. The ending puts it into the Weird (SF) category. Which gives it the PKD signature.
For Philip K. Dick or A.E. Van Vogt fans this is a must read, others might want to think about it before they start.
