Yeah this was a fun one, short but packed with enough to think about for hours. It reminded me of all of these books I wouldn't expect to be reminded of like The Bible, Bluebeard, and Animal Farm. I mean who would think those three books would be connected? All in just over 100 pages too!
The prose were really pretty too, I was struck by that at the start of the book and it carries through. Some of Valente's descriptions are really beautiful. I would say give this a shot, it was diffrent and nostalgic at the same time. Doesn't that sound like a good read?
