This is, as the author states in the preface, a collection of TV story outlines built around the idea of a man travelling back in time to prevent the end of the world. Each time the protagonist faces a decision point that can make the future a better place. Then, wheh the right path has been chosen, he falls asleep and forgets everything. He wisely leaves notes to remind him what is happening to him and these make up the start and end of each episode.

The readier is chalenged to understand how many things need to be changed or fixed for the future to be a better place, as there is no feedback to the time traveller about whether his works are having any effect at all. The story implies they must, but the connection to the future is completely missing.

A fun little series of episodes that might have made a passable TV series with a lot more development.
