Across the Green Grass Fields

Although this was technically not a free reactormag.com read. I did find it available through the Libby app and my local library.

A world filled with unicorns, and satyrs, and centaurs! The little girl in me is squealing so hard right now. As an adult woman, I owned an appaloosa I loved with all my heart. His name was Poppie and he was a lazy bastard but I learned to ride on him and loved him his entire life. My dad bought a palomino mare, and even though I was a fully grown woman in her 30's, I campaigned HARD for her name to be Dallas, if you know, you know. Which is just a long way of saying, I have some "horse-girl" tendencies, even to this day and I should have loved this novella.

Unfortunately, this book tried to send it's message of inclusiveness and everyone's worth just a tad to hard. It is a great message I stand behind 120% but I do not need to be repeatedly beaten over the head to understand the message. Seanan McGuire, don't make me go all Feed on you again. We have a good thing going here. Don't mess it up!
