Honor Blade

This book is a directly continuation of Swordhunt, and has since been published in a collected volume as part of the third book. It ends with a "to be continued" message leading to The Empty Chair.

Those who read my reviews know that I really dislike a book that doesn't stand alone, and this is pretty much the definition. The author takes full responsbility for this - it wasn't a publisher decision or a money grab.

I do recommend reading the Rihannsu series of books, of which this is a partial middle. See my previous review for a lot of things I liked, and the review of The Empty Chair for the conclusion of the story.
