The Buffalo Hunter Hunter

Wow, this book was a total surprise to me. I thought I would like it, but I was not not expecting to like it as much as I do. This is completely different take on the vampire trope, or as named in the book, the Nachzehrer.

The prose/writing style may be a bit difficult for some, but I promise you will be well rewarded if you work through it. I found myself being very sympathetic to the two main characters, Good Stab and Authur Beaucarne, while being disgusted with them at the same time.

I found at times while reading, I would.have to force myself to slow down because I was in such a hurry wanting to know the next little bit of the story. Because of this I may have to re-read the book at some point to make sure I didn't miis anything. (Who am I trying to kid, I'll probably re-read the book because I like it that much!) The ending for me was totally unexpected, but amazing.

This was my first Stephen Graham Jomes book and I will definitely be reading a some of his other novels.
