The Tommyknockers

As per usual with King, a doorstopper and at the same time a really breezy read, though less gripping than Salem's Lot, It or even Needful Things. Somewhat interesting as document and meditation on addiction but all the more compelling elements of the book are drowned out by the narrative fat. By far the scariest part of the book would be King's attempts at humor - he can be funny at times and there are moments in his works that are somewhat amusing but it falls completely flat here.
