Case of the Bedevilled Poet

I thoroughly enjoyed this one, though that could be because I'm a bit of Holmes fan.

Here we have Holmes and his erstwhile companion Watson transplanted to the middle of the Blitz, and employed in the case of a writer whose inner demon seems to have gained the ability to influence the world around him. A fiendish mystery in all senses.

As a novella, this one is a lovely, quick read, and manages to tell a great story without feeling neither rushed nor cramped, so I'm going to give it a well-earned four stars.
