This book completes the story started in Dreamhunter. It is a very strange, very unique conceptualization. The core world/society is very British but with The Place and its dreams overlaying it. The story, for me, moves in fits and starts, but it is complex and for others, like Kerry (aviatkh), it is fast and compelling. I never got lost in the story of Laura and Rose but was always an observer. And yet, it is a fascinating tale that I'm not sure I understand yet. I surely do not understand the purpose of the epilogue. So, recommended to try, with the understanding if you bog down, you have permission to Pearl Rule it.
