"Great," he said. "Now I have to read the whole series." It was amazing really, how such a short sentence contained two such distinct tones. The sheer child-like glee of discovering something which resonated with him, accompanied by it's rush of wanting to know the whole thing, was the dominate note; but this was coupled by a far older sounding undertone of annoyance that another task, though willing taken up, was never less a large task which would take years to complete. At one book a month, and with the rate at which Pratchett wrote, four full years was not out of the question.

"Great," he said again. "Now I have to read the whole series."
