This Narnia novel is the most obviously religious allegorical tale of the series. It depicts a false Aslan (God) and a Revelations style end of the world. It wraps up the series with some reintroductions of older characters from the series that serves as a nice bookend to the series as a whole. Plot-wise I did not find this novel very interesting, nor the children actually play much of a part in the story or have any character development. The allegorical nature of the story got in its own way. I listened to the Harper Audio version of the novel as read by Patrick Stewart of Star Trek fame. He read it excellently and would love to listen to other novels read by him due to his dramatic skills.
