Full Dark House: A Peculiar Crimes Unit Mystery

Not for me.

There is nothing wrong with this book. It is well written, the characters are interesting and quirky, the setting - both the contemporary and the past - has potential, and the original case of Bryant and May should have been fascinating. It just never resonated with me. The descriptions of the show become annoying, the humor fell flat, and by the time the cases were solved my curiosity was gone.

I don't believe this is the book's fault. It would not surprise me at all if other readers got addicted very quickly for just the same traits that bored me. Maybe if I had started it on a different day...

Therefore still recommended.
