Lloyd's exploits have drawn the ire of a second-year student named Micona, who challenges him to a little competition to prove which of them is better! And what better venue for Micona to throw down and put Lloyd in his place than the starter dungeon, which, due to some suspicious activity, needs to be investigated anyway? When the dungeon starts pumping out high-level dragons, though, just surviving may be more than they can manage! As Micona searches for better ways to crush her competition, a shadowy figure approaches her, offering forbidden tactics... from Kunlun.

To heal from the battle against the mysterious Sou, Alka brings the entire crew from Azami back to Lloyd's hometown, the village of Kunlun. And boy, are they in for a treat! It's not every day you see someone jumping from roof to roof to take a "shortcut" or come across children bullying a demon lord. They can't believe their eyes! Meanwhile, in Lloyd's absence, the city finds itself facing a new threat--one the villagers say he'll never arrive in time to defeat. But everyone can agree on one thing: Lloyd has never been one to give up!

There's a casting call for movie extras and stuntmen, and the agents are looking for one of the military cadets! With the help of a little magic, Alka transforms Lloyd into a handsome young man perfect for the role. Meet Roy Akizuki--fresh new face in the action--movie industry! One small change in the script lands him the starring role, and thrown into a cast of chaotic actors, Lloyd improv skills are immediately put to the test. It's getting harder and harder to tell if the scenes are just on-screen drama or actually happening... Either way, they're starting to veer off script, and it's too late to turn back now!

Lloyd has emerged from his hellish training session with the demon lord with an ounce of much-needed confidence. His next challenge is participating in the martial arts tournament that will select the next leader of the Ascorbic Domain. Much to Allan's chagrin, and despite the prayers he's offered to the heavens, the enemy forces have concluded that he is their top fighter. It's shaping up to be a match between two "extraordinary" fighters--one with no real confidence in his abilities and the other with no skills to speak of!

With a drop of confidence in his blood, Lloyd is called to participate in a Military Festival as the class representative from his cohort of cadets. But things involving Lloyd never seem to go as planned... This time, a national treasure on loan from the neighboring Profen Kingdom goes missing during the event! The culprit? The great thief Zalko, it would appear! At almost exactly the same time, the king of Azami goes missing, and the cadets gather together for a covert mission to handle this emergency. If they fail to do so quickly, this might become a serious diplomatic issue...

After his exploits at the Military Festival, word of Lloyd's strength has spread, catching the ear of Azami's king. The elites from every army branch want to recruit him--which is perfect, since Lloyd has decided to try EVERY internship to figure out his future career. Meanwhile, a mysterious curse is spreading throughout Azami that threatens Lloyd and his friends. To end the curse and defeat the mastermind behind it, this kid from the boonies may have to face his most difficult battle yet...

MISUNDERSTANDINGS GALORE

As tensions rise between Azami and the Jiou Empire, the Azami military requests every guild's cooperation in preparation for war. To that end, a ball is held to further develop friendly relations between the various organizations. However, Captain Fumar of the Maritime Guild refuses to attend and help the war effort. While everyone is concerned with convincing him, Lloyd faces a bigger problem. How does he decline being chosen as the princess's dance partner at the ball when he doesn't even know her face or where to find her?! It may be time for Marie to finally reveal her true identity to Lloyd...

As the threat of war with Jiou looms near, the Azami army and the guilds prepare to conduct military exercises. Everyone is split up and placed into different departments to help with the preparations, but only Lloyd is put on mess reserve. It's the perfect assignment to utilize Lloyd's cooking skills and prevent internal fighting among the higher-ups... However, he unknowingly crosses the border and ends up feeding enemy soldiers who are charmed by his delicious meals. Maybe peace will be established before the war can even begin?!

WHO GOES TO JAIL WILLINGLY?!

To uncover Eve's diabolical plans, Rinko and Alka launch an investigation into Hell's Lock, a maximum-security prison that houses the worst criminals on the continent. But through a series of mix-ups, Lloyd gets entangled in their operation and ends up a prisoner! Naturally, the clueless yet-mighty hero gets it in his head that he signed up for a mental fortitude training camp and takes to his new situation with his usual pep, terrifying the hardened inmates of Hell's Lock in the process. However, with Lloyd's arrival, sinister schemes afoot in the prison come to light, and somehow, the only way to stop them is through a jailbreak?!

To put a stop to Eve's ambitions, state leaders from all over the world hold an emergency conference. Instead of going to the meeting himself, though, the king of Azami sends Lloyd as his representative! Lloyd's appearance catches Eve off guard, but she won't waste this opportunity to finally get rid of him--that is, until she falls head over heels for him in the process! Now with the upper hand, the attendees of the conference can force Eve to confess to her crimes--but she still has one more card left to play...
