(Graphic Novel by Ryan North)
Book club reading Slaughterhouse Five, which I've read in the past. Rather than read it again (and I will do so soon), this graphic novel adaptation leapt out at me.
Just as good as I remember, and the comic adaptation works very well for jumping through time. I especially loved the "So it goes" bubbles that appeared (in appropriate places) outside the main narrative. The art is excellent - especially pre-bombing Dresden.
My gut feel is that the book is better, and I'll revisit this when I have a recent and direct comparison. There definitely wasn't enough Montana Wildhack in this version of the story.
