The start of a great series. I have so far read the first three books and am really looking forward to the next two in the series.
Like so many Dean Koontz stories there is a mix of interesting characters. Some very good hero types that we can all get behind and then this is countered by some nasty evil character trying to get what he wants at any cost.
This is a very pacy story with develops quickly and also leaves many things up in the air. All very intriguing.
Being spread over five books it is great to go back a revisit characters you already know. Even though some horrible things happen I found it a lot of fun.
