What if J. Edgar Hoover got murdered shortly after the John F Kennedy assassination?
Not great literature, but an enjoyable page-turning alternate history thriller. Interesting protagonist, interesting suspect and a fascinating glimpse into possible developments of Washington politics.
Be warned: There are no clear solutions here. Whethere you accept the simple explanation for the murders or not, open questions remain. But then, the Kennedy murder was never completely explained either.
Highly recommended, if you don't expect too much.
