I enjoyed this novel more than I expected to. It was a very logical and straightforward novel with not a lot of surprises to it. This didn't mean that it was ineffective in any way. It was a beautiful story about life and a robot's desire to be treated as a human. Well conceived with many touching moments throughout. I enjoyed the focus on the robot Andrew Martin throughout the novel as opposed to the more choppy and compartmentalized I Am Robot. Lots of good scenarios where the 3 Laws of Robots come into conflict with one another and what that is like from the robots perspective. Don't pass up on this one if you have enjoyed any of Asimov's other robot novels.
