Frank Herbert's impact upon the Science Fiction world cannot be over-estimated; as the creator of the enormously successful "Dune" series, Herbert changed the way the genre dealt with such topics as dynastic power plays and resource politics.
Herbert's prolific output also included non- fiction books and articles, on topics such as environmentalism and the Blue Angels flight team.
