Biography
R.S. (Rod) Belcher was an award-winning newspaper and magazine editor and reporter. Rod was a private investigator, a DJ, a comic book store owner and had degrees in criminal law, psychology and justice and risk administration, from Virginia Commonwealth University. He did Masters work in Forensic Science at The George Washington University, and worked with the Occult Crime Taskforce for the Virginia General Assembly.
Belcher won the Grand Prize in the Strange New Worlds SF-writing contest and ran Cosmic Castle, a comic book shop. He lived in Roanoke, Virginia with his children, Jonathan and Emily.
