		Biography
		
		M.C. Burnell was born in Providence, Rhode Island in  1980. She  spent the next two decades roaming the nation with her  family, following the  romantic, itinerate lifestyle for which  scientists and accountants are famed.  Since then, she has  somehow acquired a decent  library and a number of degrees, including a B.A           in English literature from the University of Puget Sound as           well as a J.D. from           Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Her first book, The Three Faces of             Dissatisfaction, is the first novel in a four-part series.           The second installment, The Shuttle that             Weaves the Shroud, is due for release some time in early           2011.
Some of her favorite authors include George R.R. Martin, Robert Jordan, Steven Erickson, Terry Pratchett, and Patrick Rothfuss. She also posts regularly at her fantasy blog, The Pundit's Podium, where she gives her thoughts on her favorite fantasy books including a series of articles on the top 20 fantasy books of all time.
Burnell currently lives with her husband, Scott, in Chicago.
