Evelyn Blackwell was born in January of 1990 in Brisbane, Australia. Despite generally being a practical person, she has always been determined to write fiction. Her day jobs have included child minder, secretary, and English language teacher. She completed a Bachelor of Arts (Classics) at Otago University in 2011, and resides in Dunedin, New Zealand.
