Location: Austin, Tx		I had a pretty crummy month reading-wise. Between trying to get some writing done during the precious few evening hours I have and a cold, I didn't make much progress.

I read:

-I Am Legend by Richard Matheson - best book of the month and far better than any of its adaptations
-A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs - ok, but has terrible pacing
-Clariel by Garth Nix - was great to see an asexual woman as a protagonist
-Superposition and Supersymmetry by David Walton - loved these as science action books (thrillers?)
-Elantris by Brandon Sanderson - the final pre-epilogue scene drove me bonkers, but otherwise a decent book

And on the fringes of genre, I read Jem and the Holograms: Showtime.
