Maelstron (Sequel, Authors, 35) 4.0
Fire With Fire (Pick and Mix, Ones, Second-Nebula) 3.0
Nexus (Pick and Mix, Ones, Second-Clarke) 3.0
Silently and Very Fast (WoGF, 35) 3.0
The Golem and the Jinni (WoGF, Pick and Mix) 3.0

All but Maelstrom were not on my original list of books for challenges. Nexus and The Golem and the Jinni were on the Recent Additions shelf at the Library, so I just checked them out. I read Nexus before I saw the Clarke Award nominees and it just happened to fit three challenges. I read The Golem and the Jinni because it was on the Nebula Award nominee list. I checked out Fire With Fire because it was on the Nebula Award nominee list. And I read Silently and Very Fast because it was on my Kindle and that's what I took to Jury Duty. (Also read a big chunk of Ash A Secret History while I was there - it's ok - interesting enough to keep reading, but not so much that I'm in a huge hurry to finish it.) This was definitely the month of random reads.
