Location: UK		I loved Guards! Guards! Thomas.Its always a pleasure to visit Ank-Morpork( wonder if I am right in assuming that is an homage to Fritz Leiber's Lankhmar?).I love the way Terry slyly cuts our society to ribbons with many people not even noticing! lol. I liked Sam Vimes,but as ever when I am reading about Discworld I am eagerly searching for crumbs about The Patrician,Lord Vetinari. What a wonderful character! Terry himself once said that when he was writing about the Patrician,he had Alan Rickman firmly in his mind. Brilliant! Ever since that is who I see and hear in scenes with Lord Vetinari.
