I've read the first book in the Black Company series. It's something I wouldn't pick up again, I felt a little disappointed by it to be honest. I struggled with a sense of feeling like much of the action was occurring somewhere else by someone else and that the world building and characterisation was a little limited. I have a feeling that the series picks up but it wasn't something I was particularly wowed by.
