I guess my *favorite* favorite books thus far this year are Sarah Canary for RYO and Wolfhound Century just for fun. I also loved Ancillary Justice and Ammonite for RYO. On the lighter side the Vorkosigan series beginning with Shards of Honor had some laugh aloud moments within a book with serious themes.
