| Random quote: I want to know why a fire glows, and why flame dust kills. I want my children or theirs...to know what makes this radio work,...and someday this rocket. I want to know much--more than I can learn, no doubt; but if I can start my people learning for themselves... -- Hal Clement (Mission of Gravity) - (Added by: Scott Laz) |

Elite Veteran Posts: 607 ![]() Location: Great Lakes, USA | Last library book sale had a lot of Jack Campbell books! (It is rare for them to get science fiction so I consider myself very lucky.) The library also delivered some holds, so I have a lot to read here in the frigid north. Temps are below zero fahrenheit at night and sometimes during the day. I haven't lived in such cold as an adult and am not enjoying this, although I am getting more reading done since I can't do much outside. My list for February In Ascension - Martin Macinnes The Mimicking of Known Successes - Malka Older And Put Away Childish Things -Adrian Tchaikovsky Star Trek Strange New Worlds Toward the Night - James Swallow The Lost Fleet Dauntless - Jack Campbell Dragonsblood - Todd McCaffrey Halcyon Years - Alastair Reynolds (just got this one. Love Alastair Reynolds!) Edited by daxxh 2026-01-31 7:52 PM | ||
