Hello!

Could you help me?

I just remembered this morning that I read a few years ago this SF novel about some kind of swamp world with several alien races and a hacker's guild with IP root address 666, the protagonist was the son of the hacker's guild leader, who used drugs promoting formation of new axons in the brain, he met a red haired girl in a brothel...there was one race of aliens that were Sikh-like and traditional assassin/bodyguards...and there were some kind of underdog natives...anyhow, it was supposed to be the first book of several, but I can't recall the title or the name of the author...

Hopefully someone here knows what I'm talking about...as far as I recall, the writing may have been a bit cheap, but at the time it seemed a fairly rich universe...
