Search Worlds Without End

One day, college student Shizuku Minase stumbles from modern day Japan into a fantasy world. While wandering through a backwater region of this world of sword and sorcery, she comes across an eccentric young man named Eric who studies a magic script. He agrees to help her return home on the condition that she teach him Japanese. With their bargain struck, the pair set off across the magical continent of Farsus in search of a way back to Earth.

Thus begins the sequel to Unnamed Memory.

WHAT MAKES A PERSON HUMAN?

Single-minded optimist Shizuku and quick-witted mage Erik have braved a forbidden curse in Candela Castle and all manner of other dangers to reach their destination, the magic kingdom of Farsas. Hoping to find some clue that might help Shizuku return to Japan, they receive an audience with King Lars... who levels his sword at her and labels Shizuku an "unacceptable anomaly." Will she be able to convince Lars of her humanity? And why does Erik seem to know the inside of Farsas Castle so well?

After the King of Farsas reveals hidden truths about the continent, Shizuku and Erik find a clue that might help her return to Japan. The pair sets out to continue their journey, when a messenger suddenly arrives inviting Shizuku to the great nation of Kisk--a place long plagued by unpleasant rumors. There, as playmate for the notoriously cruel "Demon Princess" Ortia, she is given the important task of coming up with a method to treat the speech disorder illness sweeping the continent. Without her protector, Erik, Shizuku must search for a solution alone... but failure means a gruesome death!

THE SECRETS OF THE CONTINENT COME TO LIGHT!

Having overcome the strife in Kisk and returned to Farsas, Shizuku sets about making educational resources for the children affected by the language impediment. Meanwhile, Erik continues trying to help her get back home to Japan and discovers one of the interlopers' cursed artifacts--a book filled with hidden secrets of the world--in the most surprising of places. Yet this is only one of a pair, and the possessor of the other volume, the evil mage Aviella, suddenly declares war on the entire continent! What fate lies in store for Shizuku at the end of her journey?
