Biography
David Steffen is an American speculative fiction author and editor. He is most well known for running the Submission Grinder, a webtool to help writers track their submissions and find markets, started in January 2013. The Submission Grinder is an extension of his longer term efforts at Diabolical Plots, an online publication which has continuously published content related to science fiction and fantasy since 2008. In 2015, Diabolical Plots began publishing original short fiction paid at professional rates, with stories all read anonymously to ensure that the quality of the story was chosen without author identity affecting the editorial choices.
Steffen is also a writer, and has had numerous short stories published in a variety of venues over the last six years.
