| Random quote: I have never thought about myself. Living or dying, they're the same thing. Because naturally, Life is not in this little body. What matters is the way in which we live and the message we leave behind. That is what survives us. That is immortality. -- Rita Levi-Montalcini - (Added by: gallyangel) |

Extreme Veteran Posts: 599 ![]() Location: Great Lakes, USA | December 2025 Books Mother of Storms - John Barnes Briar Rose -Jane Yolen Maybe the E, Q, V, X, Y, Z books I was going to read for the A-Z Challenge. I may just stop at twenty books for that. I read quite a few books in November, but they were not Science Fiction. I will get back to my favorite genre in December, especially once I am on vacation at the end of the month. But before that, I probably won't have time to read much. Elite Veteran Posts: 1076 ![]() Location: UK | Grr. I hate windows 11. They insisted on an update about a week ago and its been chaos ever since. the update took 90 mins and ever since the keyboard has been slow sluggish and if you are the least bit heavy handed at first nothing seems to happen when you tap a key, then suddenly whoosh and the whole damn post is gone. Just did a long long post making notes on all my reads in December but its all gone. Exhausted now have to set up the new thread for January 26 and go over to Library Thing to do the same thing there,. Thensupper and get Mr D off to bed and fast asleep before our neighbours bring in the New Year with fireworks and noise and music. I'm a grumpy old woman, agree with Scrooge on ''Bah! Humbug'' They have been doing this for at least 30 years so I should be used to it Nope! Maybe I can come on early tomorrow and redo the post. We'll see.Roll on Windows 12,cant be worse than window 11 | ||
