we've made some major updates to our Conventions page in the Resources section.  added a bunch of new cons and updated the table layout.  we'll be putting in some sorting features soon to make it easier to find a con near you.

if you know of a con that we're missing from our list please let us know so we can add to our database.  likewise if you have a correction to make to one of our entries.  the list only shows cons that have not happened yet.  as the date passes they drop off our list.

you can add your con info to this thread.  please try to be as complete as possible.

if you have any comments or questions about the listing please let me know here or drop me a private message.  hope you like!

the conventions list suffered in the sql attacks we've been weathering lately.  we've cleaned them up again and corrected all the links now so the list isn't useless any more.  check 'em out when you get a chance and let us know of any cons we should include.

World Fantasy Convention is in San Jose, CA on October 29-Nov. 1. website: http://www.worldfantasy2009.org
The Fairmont Hotel
170 South Market Street
San Jos, California 95113

and of course there's the accompanying award that should be added to the awards (http://www.worldfantasy.org/awards) you're watching if it's not there already.

Silicon is also in San Jose, CA (DoubleTree Hotel) in October. It's October 2-4. Website is: http://www.siliconventions.com/2009.

One more for you: Radcon in Pasco, WA. It's really big for a regional. http://www.radcon.org So far, they have Ben Bova coming. And me as a pro.
The website just went up and doesn't even have the dates but it's always in February on the three-day weekend.

Also, you have 2008 for BayCon and SpoCon.

Awesome to have so much info all in one place!

SFAnn,
Thanks for the updates to those conventions. We had all but RadCon already in our DB but the dates were for last years' con. I've corrected those so they'll show on the current convention list. Now I've got to go back and update all the others!

I've just updated all the conventions on our list and we're up to 121 current cons (conventions that have yet to take place) and 166 total cons.  Take a look at the list, you many find a con in your area to attend.

If you happen to know of any cons not on our list, or if you have some updates for the ones we've got please let us know.
