Synopsis
In a region of Thailand parched by upstream dams, a truck breaks down and brings Narong face to face with the wealthier end of the world.
This short story originally appeared in Interzone, #253 July-August 2014. It can also be found in the anthology The Year's Best Science Fiction: Thirty-Second Annual Collection (2015), edited by Gardner Dozois.
